No, it is not possible to make a non-5GHz compatible phone 5GHz compatible through software updates or modifications. The ability to connect to a 5GHz network is determined by the hardware components within the phone, specifically the Wi-Fi chipset. If a phone does not have the necessary hardware to support 5GHz frequencies, it cannot be upgraded to become 5GHz compatible. **

The GL.iNet GL-AR750S-Ext (Slate) is a suitable affordable 5GHz WLAN router with OpenWRT for an outdoor bridge. It is compact, weatherproof, and has a high-gain external antenna for better signal strength. Additionally, it supports OpenWRT, allowing for advanced customization and configuration options to optimize the bridge connection. **

The 5GHz WLAN may not be working due to interference from other electronic devices operating on the same frequency band, such as microwaves or cordless phones. Additionally, the distance between the device and the router may be too far for the 5GHz signal to reach effectively. It is also possible that the 5GHz band is disabled on the router settings or that the device trying to connect does not support the 5GHz frequency. Checking these factors and adjusting settings accordingly can help troubleshoot and resolve the issue with the 5GHz WLAN not working. **

The 5GHz hotspot may not be working due to several reasons such as interference from other electronic devices operating on the same frequency, distance from the hotspot being too far, or the device not supporting the 5GHz frequency. Additionally, there could be a configuration issue with the hotspot settings or the device itself. It is recommended to troubleshoot by checking the device compatibility, adjusting the settings, and ensuring there is no interference from other devices. **

To connect to a 5GHz WLAN, first ensure that your device supports 5GHz frequency. Then, search for available Wi-Fi networks on your device and select the 5GHz network from the list. If the network is secured, you will need to enter the password to connect. Once connected, you can enjoy the benefits of faster speeds and less interference compared to the 2.4GHz frequency. **

There could be several reasons why the 5GHz WLAN is not showing up. One common reason is that the device you are using to search for the network does not support the 5GHz frequency band. Another possibility is that the 5GHz band may be disabled on your router or access point. Additionally, there may be interference from other electronic devices or physical obstacles that are blocking the 5GHz signal. It is recommended to check the device compatibility, router settings, and potential sources of interference to troubleshoot the issue. **

The 5GHz WLAN may not be displayed for a few reasons. One possibility is that the device you are using to search for the network does not support 5GHz frequencies. Another reason could be that the 5GHz band is disabled on the router or access point. Additionally, there may be interference or signal strength issues that are preventing the 5GHz network from being detected. It's also possible that the 5GHz network has a different SSID (network name) than the 2.4GHz network, so it may be listed separately. **

Yes, a 5GHz WLAN adapter can receive higher channels within the 5GHz frequency range. The 5GHz frequency band is divided into multiple channels, and a 5GHz WLAN adapter is designed to be able to access and utilize these channels. However, the specific channels that a 5GHz WLAN adapter can access may depend on the regulatory domain and country where it is being used, as different regions have different regulations regarding which channels can be used for Wi-Fi communication. **
