A long-term MMO, or massively multiplayer online game, is a game that is designed to be played over an extended period of time, often years. These games typically have a large and persistent virtual world that players can explore and interact with. Long-term MMOs often feature ongoing content updates, events, and player-driven economies, which contribute to their longevity and the continued engagement of their player base. Examples of long-term MMOs include World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy XIV, and EVE Online. **

Several MMOs can be played solo, including games like The Elder Scrolls Online, Guild Wars 2, and Star Wars: The Old Republic. These games offer a variety of solo content, such as story-driven quests, exploration, and solo dungeons, allowing players to enjoy the game without needing to group up with others. Additionally, many MMOs have features that allow players to progress and experience the game world on their own, making them accessible for solo play. **
